A metaobject or metarelation in a mapping can have different properties attached to it: attributes, metrics (portfolio management), kinds of metadata, and tag values. 
Metaobject with properties
When using properties on a meta-element, the following data types are supported: integer, real, money, string, boolean, enum, date, objectref, rtf and guid. In addition, lists and sets of these types are supported.
Steps:
- In the meta-element, click the control in front of the property:
to select an attribute to select a metric
to select a tag 
to select a kind of metadata - In the selection window, select the desired value and click OK.
