To display the positioned data more clearly in a line chart, bubble chart or spider chart, you can choose to show gridlines in the diagram. Also, you may choose to hide one or both axes in a bar chart.

Showing gridlines in a chart

1. Select the chart, and click  to open the chart's Settings window.
   
   
2. On the Representation tab, click the cross  next to:
   
   Show gridlines to show gridlines in a spider chart.
   
   Show x-axis gridlines to show vertical gridlines in a bubble chart or line chart.
   
   Show y-axis gridlines to show horizontal gridlines in a bubble chart or line chart.
   
   
3. Close the Settings window.

Hiding axes in a bar chart

1. Select the chart, and click  to open the chart's Settings window.
   
   
2. On the Representation tab, click the check mark  next to:
   
   Show value axis to hide the y-axis in the chart.
   
   Show population axis to hide the x-axis in the chart.
   
   
3. Close the Settings window.
