The cookies settings enable you to set a timeout for a session with the Team Server. This session is used for authentication with a browser. When a user goes to HoriZZon, the user will authenticate with the Team Server. HoriZZon will get an access token to access the API's of the BiZZdesign servers. When the access token expires, HoriZZon will refresh the access token in the background using the session cookie.
Configuring the cookies settings should only be done by application administrators who are familiar with installing and configuring software and databases.
The cookies settings are not available in a hosted Team Server.
- In the sidebar menu, click Settings > General.
On the general settings page, in Cookies, specify the desired cookies settings.
Session timeout: Set the timeout of the session cookie, in seconds. The value must be at least 60 seconds, and there is no maximum. The default session timeout is 1800 seconds. An infinite session timeout is not possible.
Set the value higher than the timeout of the HoriZZon access token, which is 300 seconds (5 minutes) by default. If the value is not higher, HoriZZon will not be able to refresh an expired access token, and the users will have to sign in again.
- Click Apply to save the changes.
