The Time and Money tab of the Enterprise Studio Options window includes settings for using various time units and values, currencies, and currency exchange rates. These settings are also used for presenting the results of analyses on models.

Some of the settings only take effect after restarting Enterprise Studio. This is indicated by the tool.




Option

Description

Time

A number of settings for displaying and working with time values in Enterprise Studio.

Default unit 
The default time unit that is used when working with time values. 

Number of decimals 
The number of decimals that is used when displaying time values in the tool. 

Hours in a working day 
The number of working hours per day of an actor. It is mainly used in quantitative analyses on models. 

Days in a working week 
The duration of a working week of an actor. This setting is mainly used in quantitative analyses on models.

Money

A number of settings for displaying and working with money values in Enterprise Studio.

Preferred set of currencies
The currencies that are available in the tool when working with money values. Different currencies can be added, and currencies can be removed to make it the currency list of your choice.

Default currency
The default currency that is used in the tool when working with money values.

Number of decimals
The number of decimals that is used when displaying money values in the tool.

Read currencies from this file
The location of the file containing the defined currencies. By default, it is the location of the file delivered with the tool installation. You can change the location and use your own currencies file. The file must have the same structure as the standard file.

Read exchange rates from this file
The location of the file containing the defined exchange rates. By default, it is the location of the file delivered with the tool installation. You can change the location and use your own exchange rates file. The file must have the same structure as the standard file.
