Below are examples of the different coach types available in the Coach view.

Cycle

A Coach view of type "Cycle" is characterized by a series of successive phases in a cycle, and can be used for iterative processes. An example of a Coach view of this type is the "EPM design view" in Enterprise Portfolio Management. This Coach view covers all components from the design phase of the EPM process (figure below).

Cycle+

A Coach view of type "Cycle+" is characterized by a series of successive phases in a cycle, with an additional (optional) phase in the middle, which can be applicable to all surrounding phases in the cycle, and an additional (optional) phase on the side, which can be used as initial phase for the cycle.

An example of a Coach view of type "Cycle+" is the "TOGAF ADM view" (figure below).

Sequence

A Coach view of type "Sequence" is characterized by a non-cyclic series of successive phases, and can be used for sequential processes. An example of a Coach view of type "Sequence" is the Strategy design coach" (figure below).
