Scheduled maintenance announcements
TP-12964, TP-13571
For the cloud software solution (Enterprise Studio Online, Horizzon Server, and Horizzon), Bizzdesign performs scheduled maintenance. Horizzon now informs the user 24 hours before maintenance is scheduled for the user's region (see also Maintenance windows for the Bizzdesign cloud solution). Clicking the announcement will navigate the user to the Bizzdesign service status page showing the current status of the services and all scheduled maintenance.

Updated coloring and marking for site scope
TP-13356
The check boxes for setting the scope of a site have new coloring and markings.

Deletion confirmation for sites and workflows
TP-13562
A confirmation step has been added to deleting a site or to reduce the chance of accidentally deleting the site, workflow, or dashboard. Now, when clicking the Delete button, a dialog will pop up, prompting the user to confirm the deletion.

Navigation changes for sharing and managing Horizzon dashboards
TP-13865
Changes have been made to the navigation for sharing and managing Horizzon dashboards. Previously, a dashboard had the
control to navigate to the dashboard manage page. Now, the dashboards have the More options control
with two entries: one for direct access to sharing the dashboard via the manage page (Share dashboard) and the other to access the dashboard manage page (Manage dashboard).

Horizzon modeling
Design tab on Horizzon homepage to access modeling work
TP-14056
The Horizon homepage now has a Design tab as the entry point for process modeling work (creating BPMN diagrams). When clicking the tab, the Models section shows the models that contain objects for which BPMN diagrams can be worked on. The Objects section shows the individual objects the user can perform modeling work on, with or without a task.

New keyboard shortcuts for BPMN diagram
TP-14035
Three new keyboard shortcuts have been added to the BPMN diagram in Horizzon:
- Zoom (Ctrl+mouse wheel)
- Scroll vertically (mouse wheel)
- Scroll horizontally (Shift+mouse wheel)
The overview of keyboard shortcuts now consists of two tabs: General and Diagram.

Reposition object labels
TP-14129
Labels on objects in the BPMN diagram in Horizzon can be repositioned to different predefined positions inside or outside the object. If a label is positioned inside the object, it can quickly be selected by holding down the Shift key and then selecting the label. After that, the label can be repositioned in another place.

When using Comfort mode for modeling, the label is repositioned automatically to a better position if it collides with an incoming or outgoing relation or an object connected to this relation. This will happen when creating, reconnecting, or rerouting a relation or when moving an object. It is also possible to reposition the label manually. When using Manual mode, you need to reposition the label manually.
Reporting and analysis
New label text color for Enterprise Studio label views
TP-14155
The label text color in a label view generated in Enterprise Studio has changed from dark red to black.

Improvements on frequency of error message about creation of contribution file
TP-13049
Improvements have been made to minimize the frequency with which the error message "An error occurred during the creation of the contribution file" is encountered during a commit.
Bug fixes

When creating objects in Horizzon, the list for selecting the object type could show the same type multiple times. | TP-14139 |
Horizzon modeling
The breadcrumb navigation on the Horizzon model package Design page was incorrect for users with the Designer role but not the Contributor role. | TP-14089 |
Horizzon users with the Designer role but not the Contributor role did not have access to the task notifications on their task overview page ('My Tasks'). | TP-14125 |
Modeling
In certain scenarios, moving the mouse pointer over data in the Worksets pane could crash Enterprise Studio. | TP-14101 |
Scripting
The setFromShape and setToShape scripting methods did not allow hiding the shapes. Now it is allowed by specifying "" (the empty string) as the shape name. See (re)setFromShape, (re)setToShape method. | TP-14134 |
If a SAML-based identity provider was not correctly configured for Horizzon, native Horizzon users could not sign in. | TP-13915 |

Setting favorite objects in site
TP-13790, TP-14003
In addition to setting views, object and relation properties, and data block fields in a site as favorites, it is now also possible to set objects in a site as favorites. Setting an object as a favorite can be done in multiple places within a site, for example, on the object inspect page (see figure below), in the object Properties pane, and object explore page.

(System) Administrators redirected to Packages page on sign-in
TP-13875
From now on, users with only the (System) Administrator role signing in to Horizzon will be redirected to the Packages page instead of the homepage. The Packages page is the logical starting point for these users; the homepage is not useful to them.
Updated version for Activity Console Chromium-based browser
TP-14097
The embedded Chromium-based browser used by the Activity Console has been updated to version 107.
Bug fixes
Data integration and contribution
Objects created in HoriZZon did not have a name attribute at their properties in Enterprise Studio. | TP-14112 |
Horizzon
The explore view of an object no longer showed the icons and correct colors for the related objects. | TP-14042 |
Reporting and analysis
When a table chart displays text values containing a double quote, applying a filter to that column would raise a script error. | TP-14063 |
View filters and viewpoints
A software library that is used for encoding data in URLs in Horizzon has been upgraded for security reasons. As a consequence, the structure of the URLs has changed, including URLs that are the result of created viewpoints (e.g. color views) on Horizzon views. It means that previously bookmarked and saved viewpoints of Horizzon views need to be recreated. | TP-14066 |
Kibana replaced by OpenSearch Dashboards
Bizzdesign has moved from Kibana and Elasticsearch to OpenSearch Dashboards as the search and analytics suite for creating Horizzon dashboards. Functionally, there is no difference between Kibana and OpenSearch Dashboards. Nothing will change in creating dashboards.
During the period from 1 to 11 November 2022, Bizzdesign has migrated all customers using the cloud solution to OpenSearch. Once migration has completed, it is possible that the contents of the Horizzon dashboards will initially not be visible when accessing them. This can easily be resolved by clearing the browser cache. For detailed information and instructions, please refer to My Horizzon dashboards are not shown.
For customers using the on-premise solution with dashboards (Enterprise Studio + Horizzon Server Enterprise), the 3 November 2022 release supporting OpenSearch is available. Please please contact Bizzdesign Support for the release bundle.

Data integration and contribution
Table view for data blocks
TP-13600
Data blocks on the Contribute page can now be viewed in a table view and edited from there. The table view overviews all objects with data blocks at a glance, making editing data blocks easier. The table view can be accessed by clicking Enter table view on the Contribute page.

The table view shows one data block at a time. If an object has multiple data blocks, select the data block you want to see via Table view of:

Currently, the table is still read-only; it does not yet support directly editing the rows. Data blocks can be edited by clicking an object in the table. The data block slides in from the right and fields can be edited, after which the table will be updated with the values. If a task is attached to the data block and it is completed, click Complete.

Kibana connection renamed to Dashboard connection
TP-13940
Following the migration from Kibana and Elasticsearch to OpenSearch for creating Horizzon dashboards, the Kibana connection in Enterprise Studio (which is used for exporting model data from Enterprise Studio to Elasticsearch) has been renamed to Dashboard connection. It is only a name change visible in Enterprise Studio when creating a new connection. The name change does not affect existing Kibana connections.
Horizzon
Site search improvements
TP-14007, TP-14012
To improve the search for content on sites and provide more useful search results, the following improvements have been made:
- The search results no longer include model packages, models, folders, or schemes.
- The order in which search results are shown has improved.
- When searching, relations are by default excluded from the search results. The option to include them is no longer automatically selected.
Horizzon process modeling
Process modeling in Horizzon
TP-12499, TP-13170, TP-13186, TP-13187, TP-14024
Process modeling in Horizzon is a new feature in preview. The feature lets users refine ArchiMate behavior elements into BPMN processes by modeling processes in BPMN diagrams in Horizzon. Creating the BPMN diagrams is policy- and workflow-driven. The feature will be intensively developed further in the near future; adjustments and extensions will follow in upcoming releases.
Setting up diagram policies to assign process modelers and create modeling tasks
To create modeling tasks for the users, diagram policies can be set up for ArchiMate behavior element by users with the Lead Designer role. In a diagram policy, the process modelers (users) are specified and an update schedule can be set for generating the task. Only users with the Designer role can be assigned as process modeler.

Picking up modeling tasks
If an update schedule is specified, the assigned process modelers get a modeling task on their tasks overview page. The tasks overview shows modeling tasks with their current status: open, in progress, or done. Depending on the user's role(s), modeling tasks will be shown directly on the page, or the Design tab (in addition to the Contribute tab for data tasks).

When users click a task, they will be directed to the Design page where they can claim the task and start modeling the BPMN process. The Design page shows all ArchiMate behavior objects for which the user is an assigned process modeler.
Multiple process modelers can work on the same modeling task, but only one user at a time can claim the task and work on the BPMN diagram.
If no update schedule is defined, process modelers can navigate to the Models page of a model package and look for design work there. They can proactively start working on a BPMN diagram from the Design page (after which the work will automatically turn into a task).

Refining objects by modeling BPMN processes
Once a modeling task is claimed or work on a new BPMN process is started, the process modeler can start modeling on a canvas in Horizzon. Concepts for modeling BPMN Process and Collaboration diagrams are available. When the diagram is finished, the process modeler can publish the diagram on the Design page. Before finishing, the modeler can close the diagram anytime and resume modeling later.

Sharing BPMN diagrams
Once a BPMN diagram is published by a user, other users having the same task can continue editing the diagram and publish it when they are ready. That way, multiple users can work on the diagram.
When the diagram is published it also becomes visible on its ArchiMate element in sites. The element needs to be in scope of the site. Consumers with access to the site can find the diagram in the Refinements section of the element and from there view it by clicking the diagram. The diagram is only available in the context of the element, it is not available as a regular view in the site.
The diagram can be shared with other Horizzon users with access to the site via a hyperlink.

For more information, please refer to Process modeling in Horizzon.
Installation and configuration
Microsoft SQL Server database no longer supported
TP-13986
As mentioned in the release notes of the previous release (3 November 2022) and the end-of-life announcements, this 4 November 2022 release no longer supports the use of Microsoft SQL Server for the Horizzon database.
Workflows
Deleting default workflow possible
TP-11134
It is now possible to delete the default workflow "Change request" from Horizzon. The default workflow is predefined by Bizzdesign and is available on all sites, based on any model package or project, and any diagram, view, object, or relation in the site.
If you do not use this default workflow (anymore), you can now delete it. Please be aware that if you have been using the default workflow, any open and active tasks will be deleted too. Also, once the default workflow has been deleted, it cannot be added anymore. The default workflow can only be deleted by users with the Lead Designer, Administrator, or System Administrator role.
Bug fixes
Data integration and contribution
Non-Contributor users were shown the option to change their weekly task summary e-mail preference on their user manage page, which should only be available to Contributor users. Changing the setting would result in an error message. Non-(Lead) Designer users were shown the option to use the Window Client (to start Enterprise Studio), which should only be available to (Lead) Designer users. | TP-13861 |
Scripting
When a script uses forall to read from the clipboard, the results would contain random non-printable characters at certain intervals. | TP-14002 |

Horizzon Server database changes
TP-13807, TP-13815, TP-13974
This release includes some significant changes related to the Horizzon Server database. These only affect you if you work with the on-premise solution of Bizzdesign Horizzon.
- This release is the last version that supports Microsoft SQL Server databases. If you still run the database on Microsoft SQL Server, you must migrate your database to PostgreSQL 14. For more information and instructions, please refer to Migrating the Horizzon Server database from Microsoft SQL Server to PostgreSQL .
- If you already run the database on PostgreSQL: as of this release, Bizzdesign Horizzon only supports PostgreSQL 14 databases. With this, Bizzdesign follows the PostgreSQL lifecycle policy (PostgreSQL 10 end-of-life date is November 2022). T he Horizzon Server now checks for the minimum required database server version upon startup.
If you currently run the database on a version before Postgres 14, you must upgrade to PostgreSQL 14, otherwise the server will not start.
If you have a PostgreSQL version newer than 14, and want to continue using it, you must allow the use of this newer version via the configuration file. But please be aware that 14 is the only officially supported version. For more information and instructions, please refer to Bizzdesign Horizzon release-specific required actions .
Bug fixes
General
Third-party libraries, including Apache Commons Text, were updated in response to CVE-2022-42889. Earlier versions of Horizzon were not vulnerable to this specific issue, so no mitigating measures are required for this issue for customers running earlier releases. | TP-14017 |
A high vulnerability in OpenSSL 3 has been fixed, by adopting the latest OpenSSL 3.0.7 release. Bizzdesign has also released an official statement with regards to the CVE-2022-3786 and CVE-2022-3602 OpenSSL vulnerabilities. You can download it here. | TP-14052 |

Managing models in Horizzon
TP-12845, TP-13063
Lead Designer users can now view the models of a model package in Horizzon. Enterprise Studio models and any models created via the Bizzdesign Open API ("Collections") are displayed. In addition, Lead Designer users can now also manually create and manage models in Horizzon. These Horizzon models can be used for the new data contribution features.
The Horizzon models can be accessed via the Models entry in the sidebar menu of the model package page. Like any other list page in Horizzon, the page has a search function, and the models can be sorted.

For more information, please refer to Managing models in Horizzon.
Creating objects in Horizzon
TP-13023, TP-13024, TP-13113, TP-13384
The new addition to the data contribution features is creating objects in Horizzon. Contributor users can now create objects in Horizzon. Contributors with little modeling knowledge can easily contribute to ArchiMate® model content by creating objects of specific types that Lead Designers predefine via conventions. Conventions determine the types of objects that the Contributors can create and whether they can relate them to other objects. Object policies set up by the Lead Designer specify which Contributors will be the allowed editors for these objects, just like data policies do for editing data blocks.

Once conventions and object policies have been set, Contributors can start creating objects. These objects will be created in models managed in Horizzon (see item "Horizzon model management" in these release notes). The Horizzon models will be available to the user in the Models overview on their homepage.
The Objects overview on the homepage is now the main entry for editing data blocks on objects.

For more information, please refer to Data contribution in Horizzon.
Relocation of data entry on objects
TP-13067
Because of the new data contribution features, the editing of data blocks with policies by Contributor users has moved to another location in Horizzon. Before, a dedicated data entry page showed all data blocks, located on the model package level. Now editing data blocks is located on the Data tab of the Contribute page of a model within a model package. Contributor users can access the objects via the Objects overview on their homepage.
Old situation:

New situation:

Accessing data blocks from the homepage:

The models in which the data blocks are can also be viewed in the Models overview on the homepage. Opening a model will also lead the user to the objects with the data blocks.
Horizzon
Horizzon audit log extended with latest data contribution events
TP-13313
Following the new data contribution features, the Horizzon audit log has been extended with data related to these features. The audit log now registers the following actions performed by Contributor and Lead Designer users:
Contributors:
- Creating an object
- Updating the relations for an object
- Updating the name of an object
- Deleting an object
Lead Designers:
- Activating a convention (Convention Created)
- Deactivating a convention (Convention Deleted)
- Creating a convention rule
- Updating a convention rule
- Removing a convention rule
- Creating an object policy
- Updating an object policy
- Deleting an object policy

Relocation of model package and project sharing in Enterprise Studio
TP-13698
To improve performance, changes have been made to the synchronization activities of the Activity Console. Because of this, few changes have been made to the Backstage view of Enterprise Studio for managing model packages and projects.
On the Manage Package tab and the Manage Project tab, the Share entry for inviting users is no longer in the first position in the menu. These changes do not affect the way the features work.

Bug fixes
Data integration
Using the Bizzdesign Open API to create a data block definition without specifying the object types it should be assigned to, would raise an internal server error. Now a proper warning is given. | TP-13535 |
When editing a data block field of type text in Horizzon, the Insert Link and Headings buttons could not be used; clicking them would make the field exit edit mode. | TP-13704 |
The Activity Console could not handle non-ASCII characters when adding a storage place. | TP-12715 |

Configuration
Upgrade for downgraded tool configurations
TP-13649
Only applicable to the on-premise solution.
In software versions before the 26 May 2022 release, it was possible to use the tool configuration in an older version of Enterprise Studio, downgrading the configuration. This would sometimes flag recently added standard configuration items as "custom", making it impossible to upgrade any further. Since the 26 May release, downgrading is no longer possible.
When downgraded tool configurations from versions before the 26 May 2022 release are upgraded, Enterprise Studio will now detect a downgrade has taken place, and correct the situation before continuing with the upgrade. Please note that if your downgraded configuration also contains a custom menu definition, you must recreate it in the Metamodeler after the upgrade to ensure your custom viewpoints are available again to users. If a custom menu is present, a message will appear during the upgrade saying that the custom menu has been discarded.
Horizzon
Sharing views with active highlight view
TP-13062
In addition to sharing Horizzon views with an active viewpoint like the color or table view, it is now also possible to share highlight views. Please note that highlight views can only be activated in a color view based on an element property or metric, not based on the endpoint of a path in the object relations explorer.

Weekly task summary e-mail
TP-13140
Horizzon now automatically sends out a weekly task summary e-mail to users that have open data tasks awaiting. The e-mail is sent every Monday. Clicking the "My tasks" link directs the user to their My tasks page in Horizzon.

The user can unsubscribe from this weekly summary via the link in the e-mail. It will send the user to their manage profile page, where they can clear the check box for receiving the weekly task summary. The option can be enabled anytime.

For more information, please refer to Working on data tasks.
Bug fixes
Data integration
The attribute selection list in the attribute selection window for generating viewpoints, like color views, contained a duplicate attribute name called "name", making it unclear which one to use for generating the viewpoint. To fix this, a few object attribute names have been changed: Metric: Attribute name | Changed to |

User e-mail address now identifier in view update information when using SAML 2.0 identity provider
TP-10469
When using a SAML 2.0 identity provider for user authentication and provisioning in Horizzon, the user's e-mail address is now shown in the Modified by information on a Horizzon view instead of the username to provide a unique user identification (as usernames do not always do this).

Modeling
Navigator performance improvements
TP-13622
Several improvements have been made to the performance of the Navigator, which is particularly effective on model packages with many views. One visible improvement includes adding the option Show containing views to the Navigator in Enterprise Studio. Before, when using the Navigator the containing views of the objects and relations were automatically included. It can be switched off using the new option. Not showing the containing views in the Navigator benefits the performance, particularly if the model contains many views.

For more information, please refer to The Navigator.
Bug fixes
General
Potential vulnerability fixes have been made regarding a library that Inkscape™ (Create poster to PDF) and GraphViz (Auto layout ArchiMate models) use. Please note that this issue only applies to the on-premise solution, the cloud solution is not affected (Enterprise Studio Online). Third party application Inkscape will no longer be included in the Enterprise Studio installation bundle. As a result of removing Inkscape, creating PDF posters in Enterprise Studio will no longer be available by default, but options are available to enable the creation of PDF posters. For more information, please refer to Enabling the creation of PDF posters in your local Enterprise Studio. | TP-13628, TP-13629 |

Enterprise Studio Online
Startup improvements
TP-12971
Previously, after starting Enterprise Studio, the Activity Console might only start responding after minutes, because of synchronization operations. This would cause Enterprise Studio to generate error messages. From now on at startup, Enterprise Studio will wait for the Activity Console to become available (after synchronizing), preventing a range of (error) messages resulting from this unavailability.

Horizzon
Navigation from site to source model package
TP-13201
On the Sites page, it is now possible to directly navigate from a site to the model package it is created for. It is available for users who have access to model packages in Horizzon. For (Lead) Designer users it means they need to be invited to the package, for Contributor users it means that they are editor for data blocks in the package. Administrator users always have access to the model packages.
Depending on whether the user has permissions to manage a site, navigation is done via the More options control

Data integration
Assign readers to hide data block information from users
TP-13015
Data block information that should only be shared with a selection of users can now be hidden from users who should not be able to access the information by assigning readers to data blocks. In addition to the Editor role, there is now the Reader role. The Reader role allows Lead Designers to determine which users are allowed to view data blocks.
If a data block has no reader assigned, any Consumer user will be able to view the data block and its contents. Once assigned a reader, the data block will only be visible via sites to users and groups that have been selected as readers, or to users and groups that have editor access to the data block. In Enterprise Studio, only data blocks that the user can read will have their content viewable.
The Reader role can be set to the data policy of a data block, next to the Editor role. Just like the Editor role, the Reader role can be set at the object level (default policy) as well as per data block. When set at the object level, reader rights for each data block will be inherited from the object unless explicitly overridden.
For more information, please refer to Hiding data block information from users.
With the new Reader role comes a new version of the Bizzdesign Open API specification, in which new endpoints have been included to support the new Reader role. For the updated Open API specification (v 0.3.2), please refer to Bizzdesign Open API.
Updated wording data block write access options
TP-13108
Following the introduction of the Reader role, the wording of the Data block write access options has been updated to include the Reader role. and the options have been repositioned; the strict mode is now mentioned first. The options are now as follows:

TP-12358
The Horizzon audit log now also includes information about changes to data blocks (field values), data block definitions, data policies, and data update schedules. These include:
- Data block definition creation, including who created it, when (date, time), associated elements, and fields.
- Data block definition update, including who updated it, when, and the latest configuration of the definition (associated elements, fields).
- Data block definition deletion, including who deleted it and when.
- Data policy creation, including who created it, when, and its configuration.
- Data policy update, including who updated it, when, and its latest configuration.
- Data policy deletion, including who deleted it and when.
- Data update schedule modification, including who created it, and its latest configuration.
- Data update schedule deletion, including who deleted it and when.
- Data block field updates, including the new value, who changed the value, and when.
This new data can also be accessed via the Bizzdesign Open API when requesting audit event log information.
For more information, please refer to Horizzon audit log.
Additional Horizzon user password security check
TP-12855
In addition to the existing complexity check on Horizzon user passwords, the passwords are now also checked on whether they are breached. When (re)setting a new password, it is now also checked against a list of known breached passwords for additional security.
If you are working with the on-premise solution of Bizzdesign Horizzon, it is possible to disable this check if needed. It can be done in the application.conf file in the Horizzon Server installation directory. The setting can be disabled during a new Bizzdesign Horizzon installation or when updating to a new release, but can also be done in between. In that case, make sure to stop and restart the HoriZZon Server and HoriZZon Worker services after making the changes to the file, for the new setting to take effect.
For more information, please refer to Bizzdesign Horizzon installation.

New Sunray view for modeling
TP-12011
The Sunray view is a new view type for ArchiMate modeling. It is a special kind of roadmap view and can be used to visualize gradual change or transformation in processes or events. The changes mapped in the view can help share the transformation in different areas of business and processes. The Sunray view can be added via New > Planning > Sunray view in the ArchiMate model context menu in the model browser.
A Sunray view can be generated based on existing objects and relations, but also supports creating new objects and relations. The Sunray view has a canvas menu that includes various settings and options for laying out and generating the view.

Data integration
Data blocks without values not shown in Enterprise Studio
TP-12553
As of this release, when an object type in Enterprise Studio has a data block definition assigned, but the object's data block in Horizzon does not have values, both the object's Properties pane and properties form in Enterprise Studio will no longer show the (read-only) data block with its fields (with their default values). In the example figure below, the "Application quality" data block, which has no values, is not shown at the object properties in Enterprise Studio.

External data removed from project context
TP-13088
From now on, external data (collections) are no longer included in the context of a project in Horizzon. For the visibility of external data in Horizzon project sites it means the following:
- The external data will no longer be shown in the model tree of the site browser.
- External elements included in the views of a project site will stay visible, but when they are clicked on, an out-of-scope message will be shown instead of the element's Properties panel.
- The same applies to external elements included in charts in project site views. They remain visible but are considered out of scope when they are clicked on.
Sites of the master model package the project is based on, will of course still include the external data and show their properties.
Horizzon
Generating label views from relations explorer in ArchiMate views
TP-12807
It is now possible to generate label views from the relations explorer section in the Properties panel of a selected element in a view. They can be generated on the endpoint of a path, up to a depth of three relations. The option is only available on ArchiMate views.
For more information, please refer to Generating a color, label, or tooltip view.
Long item names fully shown
TP-13065
Horizzon items displayed in tiles or lists (like sites, packages, users, groups, and objects) that have a long title or name, will now show their full name when hovered. In tiles, the name is expanded in the tile when moving the mouse pointer over it. In list view, a tooltip with the full name is shown when moving the mouse pointer over it.

Aligned object navigation in table chart
TP-11553
Until now, the behavior of navigating objects in a table chart was not the same as in the other types of charts available in Enterprise Studio. This has been aligned and the behavior is now identical; when clicking an object in a table chart, the respective object is highlighted in the model browser.

Horizzon
Customizable colors for generated color views
TP-9803
It is now possible to customize the colors used in a generated color view. After generating a view, click a color in the legend to change it. When the color view is saved (by pinning it), the custom colors will also be saved. Also, when the color view is shared, the customized colors are preserved.
Because of this addition, the control to revert the legend colors has been removed (it was located to the left of the control to save/pin the generated view). Also, a highlight view can now be generated by clicking a legend value instead of the color.

For more information, please refer to Customizing the colors of a color view.

Improved name Enterprise Studio option for making visual distinction between direct and derived relation types
TP-13034
The Enterprise Studio option Support for ArchiMate derived relation types (General tab of the Options) has been renamed to Visual distinction between direct and derived relation types to better reflect its function. The option can be activated to visually distinguish between direct and derived ArchiMate relation types when modeling.
Scripting
New script method "languages"
TP-13042
The Bizzdesign scripting language has been extended with the languages method. It can be used, for example, to set the active language for a model package. The method can be called on a model package object and returns the set of all languages registered with the package. The languages will also show up in the Translation table.
For more information, please refer to languages method.

General
Check and Repair improvements
TP-12887
The Check and Repair function no longer rolls back all repairs when a minority of objects cannot be repaired due to claiming conflicts. This will make the function much more effective in a model package with many users (having uncommitted changes), and in model packages where projects are used (keeping objects in the master package locked).

Sharing Horizzon color views generated from relations explorer
TP-12918
Following the recently introduced features for generating color views from the relations explorer on ArchiMate views, and sharing Horizzon views with activated viewpoints (both in Release 14 February 2022), it is now also possible to share the ArchiMate views with color views generated from the relations explorer. Before, this was only possible for generated viewpoints based on an element attribute or metric.
For more information, please refer to Sharing Horizzon views with other users.
Directly switching between Azure AD and SAML identity providers
TP-12854
It is now possible to directly switch between Azure AD and SAML without first having to switch to no identity provider as an intermediate step before switching to the new identity provider. When keeping the users from the previous identity provider during the process of switching providers, those users will not receive an e-mail to set their password. Custom ribbon tabs for accommodating own viewpoints and scripts
TP-12194
The Metamodeler has been extended with the possibility to define custom ribbon tabs with your own viewpoints and scripts. Viewpoints and scripts saved in models can now be included in custom ribbon tabs that are saved in the tool configuration, that way making them available to all models in the model packages using that configuration. Per metamodel two ribbon tabs with up to six groups can be defined, each group can contain up to six commands. Example:
Each custom ribbon tab has one fixed Support group, which you can use for adding your own information and support about the ribbon tab.

After defining the ribbon tabs in the Metamodeler, they can be validated and previewed before being applied to a model package.

Horizzon
Embedded Horizzon content was not displayed in the default language of the model package. | TP-12073 |
The use of extremely large metric values of type "real" could prevent Horizzon from updating after a commit. | TP-12781 |
Activating a color view on a data block field of type list with enumeration values raised an error. | TP-12825 |
For users authenticated via Azure AD, session timeouts were sometimes set too short. If you have SAML authentication enabled please take note that in this release, the service provider's library has been updated to a newer version. As part of the update, the service provider now requires for the Destination attribute to be included in the SAML response. The Destination attribute's value is the same as the Callback URL in the SAML configuration (also referred to as the Assertion Consumer Service URL). It is advised to check with your identity provider team to ensure that this attribute is included in your identity provider's Horizzon connection configuration to avoid disruption with SAML authentication. | TP-12765 |
