A metarelation in a mapping has two connectors, one to define the "from" endpoint and one to define the "to" endpoint. Via a connector the metarelation is linked to a metaobject with a link relation. A metarelation can also be linked to another metarelation.

When creating a metarelation, the default position of the connectors is at the bottom border of the object. In order to make a mapping look more organized, the connectors on a metarelation can be relocated. To do this, select a connector, and drag it to the place on the object border where you want it to be.
