Document definitions can be removed from the model package or from the document store. If you want to completely remove a document definition, perform both procedures.

Designer or Lead Designer

Removing a definition from the model package

When removing a document definition from the model package, the removal is only locally. If this definition has already been uploaded to the document store once, it will remain there. There is always the possibility of adding the definition to your model package again by downloading it from the document store, provided that it has not been removed from there by other users who can access the definition.

  • In the document definitions view, select the document definition, and press Delete.

Alternatively you can find the document definition in the model browser and delete it there.

Removing a definition from the document store

If you remove a document definition from the document store, all associated documents will be removed from HoriZZon, meaning that the sections with property fields as defined in the definition, will no longer be available. Any values in these property fields will also be lost.

  1. In the document definitions view, select the document definition, and click  to open the properties window.

  2. On the Document store tab, click Delete, and then click Yes to confirm.

If you at some point want the document with property fields to be available again in HoriZZon, upload the definition again. A document definition can only be removed from the document store if it is up-to-date. This is indicated with a status at the left bottom of the document definition in the view.
