For Enterprise Studio Online, instances are spun up automatically in the background, so they are ready for usage. BiZZdesign uses advanced, predictive scaling technology to ensure the right number of reserved, ready to use instances. As a result Enterprise Studio Online will normally start within two minutes.
However, in abnormal situations of very large, unexpected peaks in usage, the incidental situation can occur that it takes longer to start Enterprise Studio Online (up to 15 minutes). This (very rare) delay, when new instances are being upscaled, is no malfunction.
